Icy Bay Glaciers The Icy Bay glaciers—Guyot, Yahtse, and Tyndall—are large tidewater and valley glaciers that feed into Icy Bay in the Wrangell-Saint Elias region of southeast Alaska. Over the past century, these glaciers have retreated dramatically, carving out what is now a multi-armed fjord more than 30 miles long, where once there was a nearly straight ice front at the coastline.
